Summer Reading Project II: Villette

I've posted the information for this year's Summer Reading Project at The Valve. We'll be reading Charlotte Bronte's great, disturbing, unexpected novel Villette, which is about as unlike Adam Bede as another Victorian novel can be. All welcome!

Oh excellent. Thanks for organizing this - I'm really looking forward to it.

I really liked "Villette". The ending, for some very strange reason, positively thrilled me and I thought to myself, "Why isn't this book ten times more famous than it is?" Perhaps I'll be the strange one out and will try to read "Adam Bede"...
