Oh good, it's not just me (or us, me and m...1. Oh good, it's not just me (or us, me and <i>meine Frau</i>). We were surprised how thin and how bad, in places, the first two Sherlock Holmes novels are. Much of what was really bad was presumably fixed by switching to short stories. But the thinness is there for good, I guess.<br /><br />2. <i>Aurora Leigh</i> is a must-read. Maybe later this year.<br /><br />3.
